Noara: The Last Moon

The Kragh's clan are in an excited state, as the new generation of talented youngsters prepare to take the dreaded trial of the Stars. While they excel in their respective skills and seem to form a promising team, their lack of experience and the arrogance of their young age could be their downfall.
The Characters
Meet the five prodigies of Noara: The Last Moon.

Amanaka
Prince of the Kragh clan, tall, massive, and endowed with a raw strength that commands respect and admiration, Amanaka is also just and thoughtful, a born leader. From his earliest swims, he has instinctively guided and protected his people with ease. Yet, despite his undeniable aura, he does not feel ready to bear the title of Prince. He prefers to be called simply “Aman.” In the prime of his youth, 51 years old for killer whale, equivalent to 17 in human years, Amanaka can boast of never having lost a single strength contest, even against much older and more experienced Kragh wrestlers. Considering that in the Kragh clan strength reigns above all else, it is hard to understand why Aman judges himself so harshly. Only those who truly know him can understand. Aman will only feel worthy of his title when he surpasses his father, King Akuyandi. This quest for legitimacy drives him to the highest standards of self-discipline and with the approach of the trial of the Stars, he will soon have the chance to finally prove his worth.

Arkansza
Arkansza, or Ark for short, is a young prodigy Turtle Shaman and a walking paradox. Cunning yet lazy, she is completely indifferent to the trials of the Stars and seems to drift between the expectations of her group and a deep disinterest in the role she has been given. Yet Ark has always managed to make herself indispensable without even realizing it… It must be said that such talent cannot be ignored, and naturally, everyone relies on her when it comes to healing superficial wounds, easing persistent pain, or heightening the senses through her exceptional mastery of acupuncture. Her gifts are rare, almost unique in the history of the Kragh clan. Not the slightest bit motivated, Ark will surprise you with her detached nature, sharp wit, and nonchalant attitude, making her journey as unpredictable as it is fascinating.

Chaknie
Standing at just one meter twenty, Chaknie, a young Axolotl woman, is the smallest of the group, yet she undoubtedly possesses the most astonishing physical abilities. Her body can regenerate almost indefinitely, as long as her heart remains intact. She is also capable of regrowing her limbs in record time and can even triple her muscle mass when the situation demands it. One would not expect so much strength in such a petite frame. Add to that remarkable dexterity, and the boomerangs Chaknie wields with unerring precision become weapons as unpredictable as they are deadly. Quiet and reserved, Chaknie speaks little, but her words, sharp as the edge of her weapons, always hit their mark. She never hesitates to speak her mind, and every word carries a cutting honesty. Her fiery temperament clashes fiercely with Slik’s provocative nature, and their quarrels erupt frequently. In short, while Chaknie may appear delicate and withdrawn at first, in the heat of battle she proves as unyielding as the mightiest Kragh warriors.

Rexes
Born into the Squilla clan, a people despised by the Kragh, Rexes, a young mantis shrimp pugilist, struggles to find his place in a world that seems to conspire against him. His arrival at the Ritual of the Stars was unexpected, but the sudden absence of Rookyn, Chaknie’s brother and a missing member, thrust him into the spotlight. An unforeseen role for which he is neither prepared nor accepted. His thick shell may protect him from blows, but it is powerless against jeers, insults, and the contempt of an entire people. To the Kragh, his presence is an offense, an unwelcome intruder in this sacred rite, and even his own team struggles to see him as one of their own. No Kragh deigns to listen to him, yet Rexes is driven by an indomitable determination. If strength is the only language the Kragh respect, then he will speak it, even though he has much more to offer. Where words fail to echo, his raw power and the precision of his martial art will command a respect no Kragh can deny.

Slik
Slik is a young eel man who is boastful, loud-mouthed, mocking, and often even rude. He feels only a very measured affection for others and stands out for a provocative spirit that drives him to challenge anyone who crosses his path. His excessive taste for partying and drinking, combined with his ease in lying and total disregard for politeness and respect, makes him a figure as exasperating as he is intriguing. Slik is also selfish and narcissistic. Yet behind this fiery temperament he hides rare qualities, enough at least to be Prince Amanaka’s best friend.
